A Ceramics Pop-Up & Exhibition

In collaboration with

CRAIG KRULL GALLERY

Featuring fine art sculpture and functional ceramics by 25 esteemed local and international artists.

"Handmade objects feel like energy points of light that dot our material world. When we make objects, we communicate with this invisible realm, we dialogue with the unsaid." - Vince Montague, author of  "Cracked Pot."

RAW MATERIAL is a group exhibition of ceramic arts featuring work by twenty-five esteemed local and international artists, co-curated by Craig Krull Gallery and Sloan Projects. This exhibition kicks-off with a three day pop-up filling the entire gallery, December 8-10. Along with fine art sculptural ceramics, the pop-up will highlight small handmade pieces that are perfect for holiday gifts. The exhibition will continue December 16th, 2023 through February 03, 2024 as a traditional gallery installation with large scale sculptural ceramics by artist Ray Barsante, coil built vessels by Brittany Mojo, Edo Antal, Claudia V. Solórzano, and Pascale Vaquette, narrative work by Elizabeth Scott, Lucas Pincer-Flynn, and Jorge A. Jimenez Jr., and an array of intimately scaled work that is both functional and conceptual.
